I've been working on the (New Orleans Immigrants) "N.O. Inmigrantes" documentary for quite some time and would love to speak to anyone who would be interested in helping me to accomplish this very important historical artifact and to give a voice to the voiceless.
A documentary about the undocumented immigrants who helped to clean and reconstruct New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and the issues surrounding the subject of Latino immigrants in the United States.The following are some elements regarding the film:

-already edited from 56 hours down to 74 minutes

-shot on Panasonic dvx100 and a Sony

-story-line is down

-some stock footage still needed

-Edward Olmos' interview may have to be re-interviewed (he has no problem with this)

-still waiting for Cesar Chavez foundation's legal department (may not use what I would like if they r not in agreement)
Editor For Final Edit Needs to:

-74 minutes down to no more than 52 minutes (all on final cut) but I'm open to the editor's professional opinion

-add subtitles once completed (I, personally would do the dual translation)

-once recorded add voice over to film

-credits/opening title

-trailer
Sound Engineer

-record my voice over

-sound remixing

-sound editing

-Richard F. Kennedy's speech to be added to film (permission and acquisition of speech already in place)

-have original music for the film from different artists from all over but I'm open to new music (dream would be to have Lila Down's to watch film and write a new album and music for it I will be meeting with her at the end of this month)
